Members must comply with the following:

• Operate a legal, decent, honest and trustworthy business
• Deal fairly and effectively with the customer and be transparent in all dealings
• Operate with a sense of responsibility to viewers, customers and consumers
• Should not deliberately or inadvertently mislead viewers and consumers or misrepresent their products in any way.
• Members Television shopping services should be straightforward and easy to use.
• Members shall make every effort to live up to the expectation of consumers and ensure that unsuitable or inappropriate material does not reach consumers.
• Members must not bring the industry into disrepute.
• Members must respect the principals of fair competition generally accepted in business.
• Members must ensure that customers from jurisdiction outside the UK are afforded appropriate levels of consumer protection.
